Violation

. A 70 year old patient was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the lateral border of the tongue. The tumour measures 3.5 x 3.0 cm. A CT of the neck confirms the presence of a 2.5 cm ipsilateral submandibular lymph node suggestive of locoregional disease. Chest Xrays and liver function tests were within normal limits.
