   The use of antibiotic in root canal treatment has not been approved to show greater success then using disinfectant. The potential risk of adverse systemic effects, such as allergic reactions, toxicity, various side effects and the development of resistant strains of microbes may happen. And bacteria have been shown to invade deep into dentinal tubules and thus they may not be destroyed totally.
