1. Preselected orthodontic bands are placed on masking tape

2. Buccal tubes or attachments are wiped with utility wax

3. Cement spatula is placed on gingival margin of the band

4. Cement is allowed to flow into the circumference of the band

5. Band is inverted over the tooth by orthodontist
