Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026.
Quizzn (https://quizzn.com) is operated by Quadrupley Inc. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who helps us run the site. You can browse and practice public quizzes without an account.
What we collect
- Account details: your username, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash; we can’t see them.
- What you create: quizzes, questions, answers, images, explanations, votes, reports and feedback you send us.
- Practice history: your quiz and flashcard sessions and answers, so we can show your scores, your practice log and which questions you find hard.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request details, used to keep the site secure (for example, limiting login attempts) and kept in short-lived logs.
- Usage statistics: page views counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
What’s public
Your username is shown next to quizzes and explanations you publish, and on quiz leaderboards. Public quizzes and their questions can be seen by anyone and by search engines. Private quizzes are visible only to you. Your email address is never shown to other users.
Advertising
Public pages (questions, quizzes, the home and discover pages, blog posts) show ads from Google AdSense. Practice sessions, account pages and editors don’t. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads, to measure them, and, where you allow it, to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google explains how in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, you’re asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. Without it, Google shows limited, non-personalised ads.
- In US states with privacy laws, showing personalised ads can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. You can opt out with Privacy choices at the bottom of any page with ads.
- Anywhere, you can turn off personalised ads from Google in My Ad Center, or from many ad companies at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
Cookies
Quizzn itself uses one cookie, to keep you logged in. On pages with ads, Google and its partners set their own cookies, as described above. The sign-up page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots.
Who helps us run Quizzn
- Cloudflare hosts the site, its database and uploaded images, and provides bot protection.
- Resend delivers account emails, such as password resets and email confirmation.
- Google serves the ads on public pages (see Advertising).
- YouTube serves videos embedded in some blog posts (in its privacy-enhanced mode).
We never sell or share your account details, what you create, or your practice history. The only information advertising partners receive is what their own ad code collects on pages with ads.
Emails
We only email you about your account (confirming your address, resetting your password) and your study groups (requests to join a group you run, being accepted into one).
Your choices
You can change your email address and password in your account settings, and edit or delete the quizzes and explanations you created. To delete your account or get a copy of your data, email support@quizzn.com.
Children
Quizzn is meant for people aged 13 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from younger children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
