remounting the dentures in the articulator using remount casts and new interocclusal records.

having the patient leave the dentures out of the mouth for 24 hours. 

having the patient close in centric occlusion and making a transfer record to the articulator.

directing the patient to close the jaws, bringing the teeth into occlusion.
